So I have a JDM H23A blue top swapped into a 2001 crv.
The engine harness, bay/mounts, and wiring are from what I can tell the same as an EK civic.
I’ve noticed that when I fill up with gas, there’s a lot more accumulated fumes/pressure inside the gas tank than when stock.
I’m currently running a jumper harness for the ecu, if that makes a difference (don’t think so).
I’m trying to figure out if there’s something I don’t know about that is preventing the evap system from cycling (or whatever it does) to allow the fumes to move from the gas tank up to the canister. (Or is this a different issue causing the tank pressure to be too high?)
I want thesystems of the car to run properly, so I aim to fix this, but I’m not sure where to start.
EVAP/fuel tank pressure issue...
Re: EVAP/fuel tank pressure issue...
Have you tried inverting the purge valve in your calibration under Misc?
Re: EVAP/fuel tank pressure issue...
I’m going to tomorrow. I looked and the 99-00 civic and 99-01 crv share the same purge valve solenoid, so it may fall under that setting.
