Is R71 the correct Ohm'age? 330K Ohms..

should it not be.. 330 Ohms....

Would that likely be the problem?

ok well since you guys wont answer to those question, are you guys gonna come up with a fix on that or the best way like i read in another thread is to swap ecu ?

would be nice if you guys let us know, since i know you guys know about it and have read the threads just wont comment on it.

let us know.

Where did you get the components?

We don't know of any random ecus not working, unless components have been installed incorrectly and damaged the ecu.

well just talk to john from j-k-tuning.com to order another ecu so i can transfert my s300 and he said that it seems like a pretty common problem and that the pin stays grounded could be the problem or a error in the processor, but hes looking into a way to fix it.

just though id let you guys know

Well the person that installed my components, has installed 30+ of them prior and has also experienced the same issue with 1 or 2, so with all these cases appearing, I doubt its user install error on most of these. Hopefully the issue can be found and solved.

That's ~10% failure rate. That seems pretty high, even for small-scale operations. Did it work properly at the get-go, or did the problems happen after burn-in?

How can it happen after the 'burn-in', when you need those components to use the Boost Controller? How would you know...

Look up the 'bathtub curve'. That's the burn-in period to which I'm refering.

If you have used the wrong resistors then you will damage the ecu and it will not work. This seems to be the case here.

Ecu's prepared by Hondata have a 0% failure rate for the PWM output.
