JDM Type R burn

Post by hidperf »

I'm looking for a Type-R burn. Got the car running on a GSR burn but you know how that works :?

Engine? Mods? Cams? Stage? the best way is dyno+wide band. The GSR maps are NOT meant to be run with single runner intake. Besides, there is a couple of other tunes included in the stage 4 packeage that should get you close.

The engine is stock, BONE STOCK. I didn't see any other tunes that I thought would be compatible. I was kinda hoping someone just had a stock map.

H269 is the JDM B18C which is probably closer than the USDM P72.

I would use the H245 (JDM B16A) map and adjust it for change in displacement using the calc feature and go.

Didn't think about the calc function. I'll try that and see how it goes. Thanks.

Got another problem I just discoverd. JDM Type-R didn't have a VTEC pressure switch and we are getting a code 22 now. Is there a burn that will ignore this switch or do I need to put the switch in? I tried the JDM B16 burn and it still throws a code.
