AEM Gauge type wideband and Hondata Ansver

Post by Dariusz »

After a lot of read and a lot of questions and asvers in a lot of forums (I have all day in that :( ) I find in the AEM forum the ansver to all of us that like to use the AEM Gauge Type Wideband with Hondata:

IT IS POSSIBLE AND DON'T NEED ANY ELSE!

The complete info is in the ansver from MP (Admin/Tech Support) in the AEM forum topic:

http://forum.aempower.com/bbs/viewtopic ... %20voltage

Using the small rotary switch at the back of the unit we can "program" the output analog voltage that we can use in example 3.375V @ 16.75 AFR and 0.500V @ 11.00 AFR :D

I think that this info help a lot of people and help that the ansvers from Hondata support (I call today and the ansver is that it don't work) are more accurated!

Doesnt that fix it, I thought all you have to do is wire up the aem to the ummm D14 or was it D16 o2 wire directly, leave the stock o2 wire disconnected and enter the new numbers into the romeditor conversion table.

Yes, this little device (divider) is needed for the OLD AEM, but in the new gauge type this is not necesary, because the output work from 3.375V @ 16.75 AFR and 0.500V @ 11.00 AFR!
