Romulator.....do I still need my pocket programmer?

Post by turbosi92 »

I was reading your article from the Hondata website and I am a little confused by this new device. I understand it replaces the Emulator in which I already have but my question is, do I still need my pocket programmer? I didn't see a socket on the Romulator to burn chips hence the reason for this question. I assumed this new item was only good for easier tuning.
Also, we get a $20 credit if we send back our emulator?

I know I am not the only one wanting to know this info so I decided to post it here. Oh, I am a S200 user with datalogging and Romeditor software.

Thanks. :?:

I would think the pocket programmer is still needed to burn the actual chip. The Romulator simply replaces the Emulator for easier tuning. What I want to know is how to use this Romulator for autotune?

JT,
Autotune is still 10 days or so from working. If everything works fine then they will release it. coupled with instructions.
