s200 with mugen chip

Post by michiel1987 »

hello
i have bought a s200 second hand
now i have a cable from the blue s200 device to the labtop (serial to usb)
and i have a chipped ecu p28 with mugen chip in it, so installation is complete
and i have also a cable (4wires) from the ecu to the blue s200 device
are these cables (4) for datalogging?

my second question is; i haven't got an installation cd for romeditor 3
can somebody tell me how to download these information (for example with my serialcode)
in this cd you can find the maps for b16a2, b18 and so on

thanks a lot

The 4 wire cables is required to connect the s200 to the ecu. This must be connected or the ecu will be in limp mode.

If you plan to tune yourself, it will be much easier and cheaper for you to just upgrade to an s300. You will also have more features. Romeditor 3 is no longer offered. The cost of Romeditor 4 is $200, plus you will have to purchase a programmer and emulator. The upgrade price to the s300 is $445.

Everything must be done through a dealer.
