H22 Turbo w/1000cc Precisions need startup cal.

Post by fullybuiltlude » Tue Feb 26, 2008 9:49 pm

I need a calibration for a built h22 with 1000cc injectors and s300.
Here are some things on the engine:
9 to 1 cp pistons with tool steel wrist pins
oliver billet steel rods
knife edged and micro polished crank
all ferrea valvetrain 1mm oversized valves turbo springs ti retainers
full race ported and polished head
love fab equal length manifold
precision sc 61 turbo with upgraded wheel
tial wastegate and blow off
all 3 inch down pipe and exhaust
1000 cc precision injectors
aeromotive a1000 regulator and pump with all an fitings and lines
venom intake manifold
74mm throttle body

I am sure I am missing some shit but hopefully this will help me get a good startup calibration so that I can run the car for a little while before the tuner gets here to tune it completely. Thanks for the help.

Sorry it took so long to reply but, I havent been on here for awhile, I havent seen your map, could you send it to me or post it on here. Who tuned it for you? What car do you have, is it a prelude or is it a swapped vehicle. Thanks for the help

I have a fully built H22 with 9:1 compression Ross 88mm pistons Skunk2 pro series stage 1 cam with their valve train set. Cut Valve Seats, Kaizen Speed balanceshaft elimination kit. Holset H1C turbo with Synapse BOV and 40mm WASTEGATE. May 12th Dave Blundell will be tuning my car "92 Civic Hatch" and I will repost my Tune for ya. Also Precision 1000cc injectors too.
This is the old one, no so great but was manageable

So has anyone out of the 11 downloaders used this map
How did it work
If you run race gas 110+ you can crank it up to 19psi of boost and see around 415hp to the wheels. I guarantee that.
So let me hear your feedback any maybe get this STICKIED

Sorry i havent said anything about the tune, I havent been on here in awhile and I havent had the chance to really use it. I did put it in the ecu and I drove the car for about 15 minutes but for some reason the fans wouldnt kick on. I took the car home and rewired the fans and everything was good but I have had the chance to take the car out since. Thanks for the tune, I used the old one but I will try the new one and you let you know how it works out. I have a guy coming to do a full tune on the car soon and those calibrations should give him a good start even though we have a lot of different parts on our cars.

that sounds pretty cool, email me at fullybuiltlude@sbcglobal.net before you decide to go up there, I may be interested in heading up there to watch you run and see the car and how well it runs.

I'll get ahold of you, got a couple of issues to fix.
Cam Seals are leaking a tad, and no why am I taking it "driving" to Cinn city, and my clutch got oil all over it from some yaaahoooo blowing up his motor in front of me and covering my whole car in oil.

I was retarded, didnt have the bottom cover on and it sucked right up in there. Stage 5 slipping in 5th at 5 psi, so I got to pull the trans and clean everything up

The file above will be a great map, it was with a 18cm exhaust housing"holset" so if you run smaller housing such as a small T3 or T28 housing it will run rich. Rich is ok to get to a dyno to fine tune it
