Flashpro not detecting ECU

Post by iShinto »

Hello,

This morning I uploaded a new calibration that I got from Vittune and it seems that an error occured partway through the process. The program light came on solid for about 10-15 seconds and shut off which was odd compared to how long it took to put in a new calibration before and now my car will not start and when I connect my laptop to Flashpro it now doesn't detect my ECU and it seems that Driver and Flashpro lights are on.

If anyone can help or have any insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Driver:Green, Flashpro:Green, OBDII: Red, ECU: Red.

I've tried looking at the connections on the Flashpro to see if it's bent in any way and they all look good, I've also tried re-plugging it several times and still not reading.

Initially I tried to reflash it without a laptop like I usually do and the program light this time would only stay on for 10-15 seconds and when I plugged it into my laptop when I got back in I got the error message that said something along the lines of "Check WEN upload has failed" or something like that.

It sounds like the battery may be dead. First check all fuses to make sure there are no blown fuses, then hook up a battery charger and see if it will show OBD2 with a green check.

Thanks for the help Spunkster, for some odd reason after I sent that message I was able to go out and get the Calibration to work without interruptions. So odd xD

By power cycle does that mean turn everything off and back on again?
