Fuel Trims And Street Tuning

Post by 06_civic_si_gi »

ok quick question on the fuel trim tables...

i running on the skunk2 (cai, header, exhaust) MAP n well, i been adjusting my a/f ratio which is fine but from wut i learnd to believe from hondata is that the lines on the graph should be smooth not a jagged... soo is that a problem to have it jagged or wut? my a/f ratio is stayin n the mid 13's soo yeah also my mpg is really really shitty like maybe 20mpg or something around that which is bad. also my fuel gauge goes down really really quick! which ive noticed everyone has that problem after they reflash the ecu... i just want good mpg again!

any help would be great!

also wut would be the outcome if i decided to retard or advance the timing say 2 degrees all thurout the rev range?

ohh btw no knocks after i kinda played with the fuel trims n b4 i did it was maybe like 2 or 3 only on cyl. 2

Tables look smooth. The datalog look ok, but the short term trims seem to be heading negative - I suspect that you fuel tables are too rich are part throttle.

Instant gratification expectation. You need to tune your fuel for part throttle. See http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/tu ... e_fuel.htm
