Sorry to hear this.

Yes, a new FlashPro will lock to and overwrite your ECU.

Assuming they didn't steal your laptop, the serial number will be under 'History' on the 'FlashPro' window. Email it to us so we can mark the unit as stolen.

Thanks for the answer.
I wasnt able to conect to the forum and send an email, so please dont bother answering.
About the serial number i dont have it in the history cause the laptop i used to connect the FP to was stolen, but luckily ive found it in a email i sent a couple of years ago when i purchased.
this is the serial number:
FP-SI-US-11931

If i get lucky and appears, i can send you an email to tell so, so theres no problem for me to use it again right?

Thanks.

Long time from last post, but wanted to update and ask a new question. My previous Flashpro was never recovered, but I buoght a used FP from a memeber in 8thcivic.com.
Te thing is that even it is unlocked from the previous owner vehicle, the registration is still under his nme and i cant egister my fp as mine now.
Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Just update the information in the Registered Owner tab of the FlashPro window.
