Vehicle: FA5 on Aem Sri basemap
I recently switched from th aem Sri race map cal to the afm/map cal to use the new features.
I went to datalog and noticed my A/F is in the 17-18 area above 6k rpm.
I stopped pushing the car right away when I noticed the lean conditions.
My question is why is the fueling so different from the race cal to the normal cal. I noticed the race cal ran rich but the afm/map cal runs extremely lean.
What can I do to the map to get it into a decent a/f so that I can datalog and tune.
Is anybody else running into these issues with this basemap?

Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
You will need to adjust the fuel values in the areas it is running lean and add fuel.
These calibrations use completely different mapping and you may need to fine tune areas to get them to the desired AF ratio.

Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
Thank you for the quick reply. I will add fuel into those areas until it is safe to do a datalog.
I have just a couple of more questions:
In the fuel table type if AFM enabled is unchecked and minimum pressure for speed density is set at default 0kpa, the car will run only on MAP correct?
If I were to run a hybrid map, what is a good minimum pressure setpoint for a N/a setup?

If you have the AFM disabled then it will run off of the speed density maps.
You will have to experiment with hybrid maps as it all depends on the setup and combination of parts.

Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
Another issue i am having now with the AFM Basemaps (I'm unchecking the AFM and enabling speed/density) is I cant get it to go into open loop during WOT. I've set the MAP WOT determination to be lower because i'm at 3500 ft about sea level.
What would be another reason to this? I can post a short datalog i did later today when I get home. I have my laptop with me to make any suggested changes, just no connection to upload my datalog.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
Without the calibration and datalog showing this it is hard to say what it might be.
Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
Map and wot map1 are the first run, this is the stock AEM SRI base map untuned.
Map1 and wot map2 was adding 20%ish fuel across the map.
The issue i'm having is stock map is running super lean above a certain rpm and its not going into an open loop.
Let me know if you need anything else. At this point I've just gone back to my race cal tuned map for safety measures, if you need another run in the AEM SRI basemap just let me know.

Re: Aem SRI WOT running lean above 6000rpm
IT is displaying correctly in the datalog you have provided. Make sure you have the min and max values such that it will display with those values.
