Stock map and 1st gear throttle dampening

Post by Vyse »

Hi,

Ive been doing a bit of research and from what I've read the 1st gear throttle dampening can only be changed on a MAP calibration and doesnt show on a MAF calibration. However, the most recent version of Flashpro gives you the option to enable/disable this feature even on the stock equivalent/Group N map. Am I ok to try to disable the dampening if I modify the Group N map?

Thanks

Yes, thats ok!

The option "1st gear throttle dampening" is possible and has effect on all calibrations (MAF, MAP and Hybrid).
But, as it turned out, this option does not only affect in 1st gear, but also all gears.

I have made the experience, that the throttle is a bit gentle at tip in, but if you put the throttle fast in, it causes jerks.
But everyone has to find out, which is the best for him!

Just, try it yourself.

This setting will not fix your "jerky" issue.
A combination of:
- Overrun manifold pressure - cutoff
- ignition
- max plate deviation
(... maybe other thinks too)
must be tuned too!
