So how can we solve this. Would just a ECU help you?

Did you travel to the UK to do their ecu's?

With the Euro CTR and US Civic Si the ECUs are interchangable, and the vehicles only differ in the communication to the dash and the AFM housing.

What needs to be done is every difference in the vehicle needs to be determined. The main differences which cause problems are o2 sensors, emissions equipment, vehicle wiring, communication protocols and dashboards.

If the differences extend past very minor changes to the Euro calibration, then it is not economic to create a FlashPro for a market unless the sales are going to exceed the developement effort.

Thanks for the responce Hondata. How will we ever know how large or minor the differences are?
The Euro CTR and SA CTR are virtually identicle. We have no idea why we were given a different ECU. Possilble just a wiring difference to prevent ECU been interchangable.

I too own an FN2 Euro spec with South Africa specific ECU. I have ordered a US spec Civic Si ECU and FlashPro and expect delivery soon. Q:Is the erratic fueling Air Flow expected with a ECU transplant or is there a function we can de-activate to ensure that we don't run our vehicles too lean and cause knock?
