Idle target AFR adjustment and fuel compensation by gear?

Post by soxfan143 »

Hello Hondata. I was wondering if you are planning to implement these features into the FlashPro. I'm getting some lean misfires at idle and I need to richen it up a bit. I don't want to run in open loop so this feature would be great. Also would you also be able to add fuel compensation by gear? Thanks guys.

you could force an open loop condition at idle via the closed loop settings and add fuel to the base map - not pretty but worth a shot

btw - with kpro there's a feature that let you set the idle lambda (a/f) straight up - would be a nice add for flashpro...

Yea but then I will lose my closed loop cruising. I don't want to have to tune every cell. lol.

Fuel compesation by gear would be great. I just did a full tune yesterday and as I went through the gears it got richer and richer.

Same here bro. In 3rd gear my AFRs are perfect 12.0-12.2 and the higher the gear the richer it gets. If I go WOT in 5th or 6th I'm in the high 10s low 11s. 4th isn't as bad I'll be about 11.5-11.8.

But a fuel % compensation by gear would be sweet.
