FG2 with Fuel-cut symptons.

Post by ruloSI »

- customer's car so I will omit the serial number.
- FlashPro Manager version: 1.1.5.6
- the calibration: AEMSRI+RH+410 injectors Rev.5 and stockRDX map test
- a datalog of a problem: AEMSRI+RH+410 injectors Rev.5 and stockRDX
- FG2
- FG2
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (intake, header, exhaust, TSX 06 cams)
- This customer's car has been exhibiting a rev-limit like fuel cut at 5000rpm. We've tried going back to a stock like map (albeit with the RDX injectors) and the same problem arises. We are trying to determine the cause of this issues and your help is much appreciated.

Best regards,

Rulo

Valves are hitting the pistons. Confirm by retarding the cam to 30 degrees maximum and/or checking the valve timing.

Any thoughts as to why this would be happening with the TSX cams? They're not exactly all that aggressive... Botched install? Valves slipping out of the keepers/retainers? Timing improperly set?

Thanks, I'll check and verify by retarding CAM to ~30 degrees. I will have customer check timing. I'm at a loss for words since this install was done my Honda of Canada. Weird. :?
