FlashProManager V2.8.6

Post by Hondata »

V2.8.6 (13 November 2017)
  • FlashPro firmware updated to version 124
  • Improved translation.
  • [2006 Si/FN2][2012 Si][2016+ Turbo Civic] Added datalogging of wheel speeds.
  • [2016+ Turbo Civic] Added datalogging of steering, brake and clutch position.
  • [2017 Civic Si] Added flex fuel tuning capability.
Download here

We will add the fuel fuel capability to the non-Si models soon, but be aware with the CVT that the mid range torque needs to be limited to prevent damage to the transmission.

That is awesome. The timeline of my purchase of a new Si just accelerated. What is the peak stock injector DC% at this output?

What is the long term effect of e40 - e85 fuel on honda's new DI fuel system?

I've been having problems with my car ruuning on e85 and sitting in the garage for a week or two...

Was your car tuned for e85? You can't just fill it with e85 without any fuel adjustment

Sorry, I didn't make my self clear.

I mean, on my other car before that was previously tuned on e85. I have great results with over 500whp but Im killing my fuel injectors since it is not a daily and I only use it say, once a month. Tried to have it ultrasonicly cleaned and flow checked but the tech says it was rusted really bad. Bought new set of injectors and tuned it back to pump gas 100ron(400whp) but no issues since then even it sits for 2months straight, it will fire right up.

Im just not sure if the new civic's DI fuel system, as a whole, is E40-90 safe/compatible.

Ethanol itself is not corrosive and you won't have any problem with the fuel system. Ethanol is hydroscopic, so if your fuel tank / EVAP is not a closed system it can allow water to enter the fuel tank, which would be a problem. Also with after market port injectors some are designed for natural gas injection and do not do well on any fuel with alcohol.

Where is the information for the steering, brake and clutch position at? I don't see it with a new datalog on this software version
