Table cell colors

Sorry for the n00b question. I searched for "cell colors" but saw no results. It's a basic question - what do the table cell colors mean? Some cells with the same or nearly the same values have different colors. I get the main gist in the fuel tables that blue/green colors are rich (and should maybe be adjusted leaner), and that yellow/orange cells are lean (and should be adjusted richer). Right? Any other trick to understanding them?

The colors are just relative to the values they contain.
