P2101 error code

Post by keithd2959 »

Hi,
I am having a P2101 error code issue and the car goes to about 2000rpm on its own (safe mode?) ,until ignition is turned off and started back again.
Could it be the alternator or a faulty TP sensor ,actuator module or pedal module?
I use HONDATA Flashpro for datalogging.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. Before i change my throttle body, what is the minimum voltage expected during engine running? Mine is going down to 13V in the data logs, is this value normal? Thanks

This would be the F3 car.

The P2101 error occurs at 2:56.300 & 3:09.725. 2:19 & 2:39 doesn't look right either, but no error was generated.

You're running in closed loop still? Short term trims are all over the place. MAP looks a bit low too - 22 kPa at idle is much lower than normal. Battery voltage at idle is a bit low too.

Hi, yes this is the F3 car. Thanks for the info.

Yes we are still running closed loop. We kept it like his cause its a 100% stock engine apary fron the exhaust. Alsi regarding the vaccumm i dont know what to say, as mentioned everything is stock on this engine. Any suggestions how to procced? Thanks

Hi, went through the data log again but i couldn't find anything wrong in the map, during idle its -22psi ( -157kpa) which i think its normal while in full throttle its nearly 0 which sould be fine right? thanks

Replace the throttle body first. Since the short term trim is high/low, it needs tuning.

Thanks, when you say tuning you mean fuel map adjustment right?
