ID 1000 injector size

Hello,

I have a supercharger on my car, ID1000 injectors and a fuel pressure of 62psi. However, the map with which I have tuned the vehicle has 1000cc in the "current injector size". I therefore get wrong duty cycle values in my datalogs. The manufacturer says that at 62 psi the ID1000 flow 1200cc. When I change the value to 1200, nothing happens in the map values, I just get a red dot next to it (see attached). What should I do to alter the injector size to the correct value?

The red/yellow dot are only a indicator for you, if you have changed the parameters look here:

Ok, thank you for the clarification.

Regarding the actual fuel map values, what happens when you change the value from 1000 to 1200? The fuel values remain the same. Do I have to go and manually reduce them to get the previous AF again?

The fuel injector size is there to get you in the ballpark and it makes an over all fuel trim adjustment. You will not see any changes to the fuel tables. To fine tune you make adjustments to the tables.

So if I change the injector size from 1000 to 1200, it will lean out, just like it would if I increased the fuel pressure value? And I will then have to increase all the fuel table values to get my AFR back to my target. Correct?

Hello again,

Please look at the attached datalog (4th gear pull) or the print screen (easier). At 8370 the INJ shows to be 12.68ms and the duty cycle to be 88%. I have 2 questions:

- How is the duty cycle calculated in the ECU? My calculations give a max time at 9000rpm of 13.33ms and there fore the 12.68 is not 88%.
- Is the injector opening value I see in the datalog the actual time the injector is opened or just a mean value of the fuel table values? And if it is the later, having a wrong injector size or fuel pressure in the calibration menu, will obviously create wrong duty cycle values?

Duty cycle is injector open time / engine revolution time, so 12.68 ms/ 8370 rpm = 88.4%
The injector time as datalogged is the actual injector pulse time, not a calculated value.
