What OS are you using? What does the TC show as in the device manager? Have you manually installed the drivers?

I'm running windows8. The computer used to pick up the TC unit every once in a while. But now not at all. And yes I went a manually installed the drivers per hondata's instructions.

It shows up as hondata Ecu. Then when you click it it drops down and shows hondata traction control.

That looks correct. Now what happens when you open (KManger, SManager, FlashProManager - you have not said what system you have)? Does the Traction Control window (NOT the traction control application - that should not be open) show the serial number?
