Traction Control Compatible with R18A1

Post by 420Coupe »

I am curious to see if your Traction Control is compatible with the R18A1 platform as I see it only requires speed sensors and not an ABS system.

If not would be much appreciated if that could be incorporated with BBG, a full speed density compatibility and the ability to adjust Final drive so the speedometer will still read correctly. Again it would be much appreciated Derek ! Thanks again buddy!

It is the other way around - your question is whether the R18 FlashPro supports Traction Control.

The R18 ECU does not have any inputs which can be used for Traction Control.

Any way to add the required sensors/ cables and connect them to the pin so there exist an input ?

Is this the same reason BBG with a solenoid will not work ?

-Thanks

Sorry to bring this post alive, to summarize, the R18 has abs module and wheel speed sensors available for the traction control installation, it is just the R18 ECU doesn't have any spare analog input to be used for the TC slip signal, is this right?
