Which cable do you have? I don't think markspace makes the correct cable for the Tugsten. The cable should be a modem cable, 9 pin, powered from the Palm, and must have electronics inside the cable to convert the voltage levels.

I was thinking that. but availability of cables here are NIL. Best thing is to purchase the cable from you.

I checked my cable again and I also checked Mark space.

They have a DCU-m9 modem cable which is the one that I ordered. I think they sent me the wrong cable DCU-H9 which is the Hotsync serial cable.

I will order it through you guys.

I have bought the correct cable from Pcables.com.

I still couldn't connect to the Interface box.

I don't know why.

Does the Palm 505 has RS-232 level pin out ? Or is it TTL like the Visor ?
I notice that the Tungsten uses the same connector as the Tungsten and wondering whether you get Palmlog to work on your Tungsten ?
What cable did you use ?
Does it have any TTL to RS232 level conversion on the cable you use ?

Many thanks
