so my car has been down for most of the winter and its hitting the road hopefully tomorrow :) well last year i was datalogging with a laptop and it sucks lugging it around. enough with the life story here ill get to business. i bought a palm M515 and i just ordered a serial cable from ebay. now in reading about the palm on hondata's page it says this signal must be converted to RS232... so my question and hopefully a cheaper way to help people out would be......
will this work. http://www.bb-elec.com/product.asp?sku= ... ept_id=161

--cliffs notes--
car is almost done
got a palm
will a serial hotsync cable and this adaptor work -> http://www.bb-elec.com/product.asp?sku= ... ept_id=161

i have the palm m100 with serial hotsync cable and i used a 9-pin null modem adaptor and 9-pin gender changer (male-male) and works with out problems. the serial hotsync cable needs to be crossed (null modem adaptor) and the palmlog will be able to "talk" to the blue box. paid like $5 for those two thiings at radioshack.
