FJO lambda meter

does hondalogger and romeditor support datalogging for the FJO lambda meter? Whats the advantage of the motec vs. the FJO?

YES they do support the FJO. The advantage of FJO over the MOTEC is the price. I'm using the motec PLM but there's no reason FJO will be a less superior product. It does the same thin as motec albeit some features of the PLM might not be present. Features that you wouldn't use in a Hondata anyway.

With the Romeditor 2.5, there is a bug that hinders the A/F reading from functioning properly. Even the Hondalogger has this bug.
You can datalog the other parameters but you'd have to manually read the A/F ratios from the Lambda display.

isn't there any fix for this? i hope they did include this in their tech articles since
"Hondata has had extensive tuning time with two wideband lambda meters, the PLX and the FJO. Most wideband meters - (the ones that are of any use in tuning here) have a 0-5 volt output proportional to air fuel ratio. That output is fed back into the O2 sensor wiring where ROM Editor or Hondalogger convert it back into a precise air fuel ratio. The stock O2 sensor is very inaccurate for anything other than 14.7:1 airfuel ratio. (image courtesy of FJO)"
