AEM dryflow

Post by Aarlin303 »

Was curious if anyone is using a AEM DryFlow Air Filter. I run these on my other vehicles and wanted one for my Civic. Since it is just a replacement drop in panel filter, can I still use my flashpro base maps without worrying that it needs a custom tune. Thanks!

Yup, you can run whatever drop in filter and it won't mess with the fuel trim. IF you change the MAF housing then you would need a tune

As far as I know AEM doesn't have a DryFlow drop in filter yet for the 1.5 turbo. I've run them before and they are high quality. The good news is that I run an aFe Pro Dry S which is basically the same washable, no oil type filter. It's pricey, but great.

Found the filter on their website, I've looked before so I guess it just now is available.
