PRL Race Intake - Civic sport hatch 17' (6MT)

Post by Iperez87 »

I recently bought a race PRL intake for my civic hatch. I have been trying to calibrate the AFM myself but I am a little confuse. I am running a +9psi -AEM CAI/SRI basemap but still running too lean and the CEL still on. any suggestions. Hondata, are you thinking to put a basemap for this intake anytime soon?

Thanks.

Every intake we've tested have been close to stock in calibration. Make sure the clamps are on evenly and there are no air leaks.

Are you getting an error code? What do the fuel trims look like?

That is correct, is a Race housing, I managed to increased the AFM Mass flow by 30% and the S.TRIM still reading between 11.97% to 29% and the L.TRIM 11.97%.So far, I don't have any code but I was getting a 2101 code running too lean. It was reading 33%+ and 15% on idle. I checked all the clamps and everything looks good.

i would not drive on that unless you tune your AFM

you can start by adding 25% everywhere on your table

Thanks for the advice. I played with the AFM mass flow, increased 50% from .09v to 4.0v. this is the result.

you should disable your long term(min/max 0%) then datalog to see what your fuel trim is
