I recently installed PRL's HVI and noticed afterwards some things in the datalogs that I am unsure if they are to be expected or symptomatic of a vacuum leak.
The first thing that I noticed was that the Long Term Trim is off quite a bit in the low end.
Looking at logs for the stock airbox the Long Term Trim was a pretty flat line.
Something else I noticed is the AirCharge seems to be much higher in the upper RPM range.
The only change I made to the calibration was to lower the AirCharge limit in the lower RPM range to keep the Fuel Pump from maxing out.
Additionally there seems to be a lot more oscillation of the A/F under WOT.
Am what I seeing expected for the intake and its MAF housing or do I need to look harder for an issue with the install?
Also if this is normal behavior is there a procedure for updating the calibration of the MAF?

You could have a leak, or you may need to do some additional tuning of the AFM to get it adjusted for this intake.

Thanks, ill look more into it.
Would that explain the A/F oscillation at WOT, or is that due to the MAF being towards the upper limit of its operation?
Is there a guide somewhere for tuning the AFM?

Wrote some software at lunch to calibrate the AFM table for me. Got pretty close with the first iteration (within 0.75%).
I also don’t understand why the commanded boost seems to be much higher than it was with the stock air box at higher RPMs.
The only changes I made to the calibration was to lower The Air Charge at lower RPMs and updated the AFM table today.

Do you mean newer version of flashpro/firmware, or do you mean my updated calibration?
The flashpro version I was using was 3.7.2.0
I noticed in 3.7.3.0 you added mods for intake, but I don't see one for the PRL-HVI.
Which one do you suggest using? (It looks like the only one that is any different from stock is Eventuri)
I updated my software today to analyze multiple datalogs and come up with some scaling factors for the AFM based upon both Long&Short Term Trims since I noticed that at the upper end of the sensor the Long Term Trim wasnt updating, but the Short Term Trim was trending around 4%.
I was thinking of trying that out first. My data seems to roughly line up with what PRL themselves posted so I am fairly confident.

You must download and install the new version of software, it will update the firmware and you will have to upload your calibration to the ECU using this new version of software.

So I have several datalogs I captured trying several things.
I first tried selecting the AFM calibration as Eventuri.
I was assuming that since the sensor was scaled around +5% that the ECU would think there was more air and reduce the commanded boost but that did not seem to be the case. The A/F did look slightly more stable under WOT, but I did not test it for too longs since I noticed that the fuel pump was working much harder than I was comfortable with. I then started from scratch with a 93oct basemap with PRL FMIC & PRL HVI and got some logs with it.
Thing looked better at first (still some A/F oscillation) but the boost and fuel pump looked much closer to what I would expect. I then dataloged the same tune in Sport mode (I had my torque tables setup such that comfort is stock power, sport is half way in-between, and +R is full power. This used to regularly result in 21,23,26psi respectively). This datalog was taken roughly 30mins after the -R datalog and I noticed that peak boost was still 26psi and was causing the fuel pressure to drop to 2500psi... This is a datalog from this morning with the same tune.
Fuel pump looked in check but the oscillation is still present. At this point I am about to put the OEM intake back on until I can find a reputable tuner that is experienced with this ECU and that intake.
