towing with the ecu modded

Post by tlex »

I saw on the demo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIHTG7dspys) that once modded, when enabling the eco mode, the engine / cvt will be tune as it used to be when on unmodded regular mode.
If thats the case, I assume there wont be any risks to damage the transmission doing so while towing ?

In the same perspective, would it be any risks of towing something while in modded mode ?

Thanks !

The changes we make should not have any effect on the towing limitations set forth by the manufacturer.

I have the dual tune as well, and when I use the ECO button, its like I am in ECO mode stock (when i first bough the vehicle), rpms max out at 2k unless you tromp on it. Not sure if that is the point of the dual tune, but seemed so to me... i feel like i want to run a data log, if i use regular gas it feels like I am riding on an elastic transmission, when I use SHELL 91 pickup while still a little laggy, feels much more consistent.
