Ecu is 37820-p5m-L04
So I have an ecu that is not listed in the hondata list. What have I got here? Can this be tuned by hondata?

I do not know what it is from, but it is not compatible with any Hondata systems.

Quick Google gives:
97-01 HONDA PRELUDE ECU PCM H22A4 H22 MT 37820-P5M-L04

So why does hondata not work on p5m ecu?
Re: Ecu is 37820-p5m-L04
It is a completely different ECU inside than the Civic/Integra line.

Ok, so I would have to swap my ecu to use hondata? The ecu isn't expensive, but won't my immobilizer disable ignition? Can I install a new ecu, get new keys and remote from honda? I have a Clifford alarm system idk if that changes anything, but I did have to cut out the Clifford immobilized because it failed and shutdown my injectors while driving on the highway...
Re: Ecu is 37820-p5m-L04
To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want (http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html). I would recommend the s300.
Your factory immobilizer will not longer function with a OBD1 ECU.
