mini me questions

This spring I am installing a d16z6 head with zex drag cam and aem adjustible cam gear onto my d16y8 block. Also an aem cold air intake. I just picked up a skunk 2 obd 2 - obd 1 conversion harness and a p28 manual ecu. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and knows what problems if any I will run into.

the z6 head requires a little more timing than the y8. about 1/2 tooth, or about 3 degrees.

do yourself a favor and use a degree wheel to set the cam initially. z and y cam gears are different as is the placement of the keyway in the cam. which also leads to dizzy timing issues. pos took us forever to figure out and the cam timing ended up being off by 12 or more crank degrees. good luck.
