Hello
I am new to flashpro tuning. After reading the flashpro help and forums, I would really appreciate if someone could give an overview, for those of us who are new, of AFM vs MAP tuning. Also, it looks like historically there were race/MAP tunes but now they are based on AFM with MAP added?
I have started with a calibration based on AFM and only begun to adjust for A/F with the afm.v vs s.trim.
Thanks!

HAve you read theinfo in the help file: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/f ... htsub=fuel
Re: Please explain AFM vs MAP calibrations, and hybrid
Yes, that is a helpful definition. Is there any more detailed information available? For example, I would like to know what happens if I start with a calibration that uses AFM and then click "use MAP" in the calibration settings, will that stop using AFM? Will the maintenance reminders stop working? (like in the race calibrations) And what happens in hybrid AFM/MAP calibrations?
Thanks again for helping a newbie.

It will only disable the AFM if you disable it in the calibration. IF the calibration is not a Race calibration then you will not have any issues with the maintenance minders.

Thanks! I've also found some posts from 2009 to 2013 on the subject, but that's from older versions. Your information has been very helpful.
Re: Please explain AFM vs MAP calibrations, and hybrid
What are the reasons NOT to use a MAP-based calibration, if any? Thank you.
Re: Please explain AFM vs MAP calibrations, and hybrid
There is no reason not to

They should be able to make the same power.
