Best approach for Si 99 (em1)

Post by srlucasgp »

Hi all,
I have a quick question regarding the best way to go with s300 for a civic si 99.

I had a chipped p28 that failed (board issues) and I'm looking for options to get a new one. I always wanted to go the hondata way but I am worried that getting an old p28/p30 (board will have 20+ years) will not be as reliable as getting something different...

What would you guys recommend?

Regards,
Luke

There is no way around the fact that you must use a $25 year old ECU with an S300. AS long as the capacitors are replaced it should continue to be reliable.
