S2000 base maps

Post by Boxster1965 »

Good morning everyone
I’ve just received my Hondata and downloaded the flashpro from the site.
But I only get the original factory tune in my calibration.
Did I do something wrong, as if I change it to USA I get all the other base maps come up 🤦
Hope this makes sense, please help 🙏

This is normal as we do not have these vehicles here to tune and add calibrations.

Damn, I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known that.
So only America can take advantage of the maps pre loaded onto theirs 🤷‍♂️

I don't do a whole lot of S2000 stuff, but I did spend a lot of time helping out one guy in the UK with his tune that we redid from his previous tuner. If you want, we can start you on the completed file I made with him and use it as a base to make adjustments on yours. The only concern I have on the S2000 platform is they are prone to false knock. Which makes things tough to lock down a good ignition map and can also require modifying the knock sensitivity tables to ignore that false knock. The problem with that is we have to make judgment calls on whether or not you are comfortable with the knock being false knock or not so that we can do that. If we don't have false knock, the rest is pretty smooth sailing and straightforward.

What modifications have you done to the car performance wise?
