Upgrading fuel injectors

Post by Dread589 »

I have a 96 GSR B18C1 built for all motor in my 2000 civic EK. I am running a P28 ECU with hondata S300 V3 with hondata CPR kit, looking to upgrade injectors from stock to 750cc RC injectors. I have code 16 for fuel injectors, and when probed the body of each fuel injector while running some are clicking slower than the others (possibly restricted), which has been causing some issues. Would it be safe to drive to the tuner with running the 750cc injectors on my base map? Or would it be excessive fuel delivery and cause driveability problems?

Thanks again

Are the injectors low impedance or high Impedance? Have you set the correct dead times for the injectors?

Sorry for the late response, they are high impedance injectors and have not set any dead times

You need to start by setting the dead times correctly for the injectors when you replace them and select the correct size in the calibration and then see how it runs and check the AF ratio to see if it is safe to drive without additional tuning.
