Beginner Friendly NA CR-Z

Post by Angel_CRZ »

Hey everyone,

Hope I don't get roasted for this, I'm genuinely trying to learn. I've done my best to do my reading both here and on CR-Z Forums. I've watched almost every Youtube Hondata 101 video I can find, but I'm still an idiot when it comes to this stuff, so please forgive me. Hopefully this thread will be a bit more accessible for the average guy like me. Hope you all can forgive my questions and general lack of intelligence.

I don't have a FlashPro, but everything points that way given that I'm in the process of getting a larger throttle body and will eventually do the G8 Cam upgrade. Once these things happen, I'll have no idea what to do lol, but one problem at a time.

Currently, I have the following:
Takeda Intake
RB1 Fit Intake Manifold
T1R ... Test Pipe
T1R Midpipe
T1R Muffler

My first question would be: If I get a FlashPro now, is there a basemap I can load given the current mods I have that will get me any gains? if so, what would I be looking at?

I appreciate anyone who responds here. Seriously, you have my thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I should have mentioned:

I'm in Canada and my car is a 2012 6MT EX.
