problem with communication when start

my S300 is work proporly when i key on the engine ( not start yet) but when i started engine S300 is mulfunction ( the cursor is hang). i was test usb and it's connect fine. always on line.
do i have to set anything else to make S300 work properly when i start engine?
do i have to install any driver?
what kind of USB port do i have to use?

Can you datalog with the key on engine off? If you can and then it stops once you start the engine then the problem is electrical noise. Check the master ground near the thermostat housing and check that you have stock plug wires with resistor type spark plugs.

i am useing ngk wire and ngk iredium plug resistor type now.
i will check ground. do i have to do anything with USB? cable or port?
i mount MSD next to s300 inside the car. do you think i have to move it?

Can you test the car with the stock ignition system?

The problem is most likely the MSD...first try moving it away form the ecu, and if that does not work try the stock ignition system. We have seen aftermarket ignition systems generate a lot of electrical noise which interferes with datalogging.

it's work perfict with stock ignition. but i really need msd for my set up for 850hp. what can i do? what do you think about hks twin power? is it ok for S300? thanks

We made 700+ with stock ignition and 650+ serveral times. If you want a GOOD system because you think you need it, look at M&W.
