Cant run S-manager on Vista

Cant run S-manager on Vista

I just bought a new laptop with Vista Home Premium and I downloaded the newest version of S-manager and it wount run. I have AVG anti virus and I uninstalled it and it still wont run any other Ideas?

new laptop unfortunately. its happened to me. its hit or miss with vista. gl

depends on the vista system. its hit or miss. 32-bit works, some of them. 64-bit doesnt.

i had to go through the same stuff. unloading avg and reloading. it just wasnt compatible.

try turning User account control off and try downloading hondata again. And make sure your avg anti virus is not installed. I hope that helps.

i hope so too cause i did the same thing. almost better to wipe vista off and install XP

how can you tell if it is 32 or 64 bit?

It is most likely in the system properties.

i found it. it is under system and maintenance/view amount of ram and processor speed. mine is 32 bit

mine is a 32-bit and it didnt work. hondata just didnt recognize it. so i gave it to my wife and bought my IBM which i just love......corporate edition XP, worked perfect.

i stepped on my wifes laptop anyway, so worked out good

Try saving to your computer, then before install , right click on the file. select properties, you should see compatibility tab. put check in box
"run in compatibility mode for:" windows xp(service pack 2). It worked for me. ( I also uninstalled AVG before trying this). Hope this is helps..
