Hondata on d16v1

Post by barvic »

hello, I 'd like to know if hondata's d17 kpro flash will fit on the european d16v1 (civic 2005, looks like an SI)... the engine almost the same as a d17a2 (em2)

ecu partnumber: 37820-PMH-G02

engine:
d16v1:

hope someone can help me... there isn't much difference in ecu pinout.. but cannot find any draw from a d16v1..

I cannot tell you if it will work or not, as we do nto have that engine here in the US. You can purchase it and try, but it will be at your own risk.

I understand ;)
can you tell me which ecu wires I must have 100% ? maybe I can do some fitting work on d16 connector to have the same signals as d17.. ( I miss some cables though, like an acc wire etc, not much important) but it would be nice if I had a schematic from hondata where alle in- and outputs are shown.. just to see which ones I really need, to make the kpro fit on the d16v1..
I'm sure a lot of people would be happy with it ;)

There is no Hondata diagram like that. You will need to get the Helms manual (factory service manual) for the D17 powered civics and compare to that.
