FlashPro on FN2 Cruise Control problem

Post by walter »

I have a problem with cruise control on 6th gear, it doesn't work. I tried Group N reflash and "MAP based, race header, highflow cat, stock catback." for FN2 calibrations. It works on 5th gear fine, but on 6th it works only when rpm's are at 2k-3k.

Cruise control only works on MAP calibrations but not on 6th gear, on MAF (Groupe N reflash) I can't even switch it on. I'll make datalog tomorow.

Do you have a Type R GT? What is the ECU code number?

Yes, Type-R GT. ECU code number: RSP-E03.
With MAF Groupe N reflash cruise control doesn't work at all.
With MAP raceheader tuned, when I mark "Cruise control enabled" in "Misc" it works, but not on 6th gear.

On which calibration I should datalog?

I've made two datalogs with "Group N Reflash" and "MAP based, race header, highflow cat, stock catback" calibrations.
Could you advice which calibration is better to use with bolts on like header, catback, hondata heat gasket? It seems that MAP based runs better...

We are still looking into this. It appears to only be an issue with the Type R GT since it uses a different ECU than the Base Type R. This was not something we were made aware of until now.

hondata please note that I have a FN2 GT (the only that have cruise control) and with my reflash ECU hondata group N the cruise control works fine. I have this ECU for almost a year

now with the OEM ECU with the flashpro the cruise control dosen't work.

Are you using the stock ECU or the Group-N ECU with the FlashPro?
