Kpro USB cord

Post by Navigon »

So I just found out my kpro USB cord got stuck inside the seatbelt tensioner. I was wondering if the USB cord used to connect the kpro to a computer is simply a regular USB cord that I coul replace? Or is it a special USB cord

it doesnt have to be special, you can use one for a computer printer but make sure it has ferrite to stabilize the signals and prevent future headaches.

It is a standard USB A to B cable. The one we provide has built in ferrite filters, which are not essential.

YMMV on this. I replaced the USB cable with a standard one because I needed a longer one and it did not have the ferrite filter on it. Laptop would disconnect randomly. Added a ferrite filter, rock solid connection. So again, YMMV.
