2004 S2000 KPro parts and installation
2004 S2000 KPro parts and installation
Hi,
I have an S2000 KPro for my 2004.
The box came with the KPro ECU, USB Cable, ECU bracket, Crank and Cam sensor wiring harness adaptor and two other wiring plugs with pigtails.
Since the instructions I got say nothing about the wiring, my question is what are the two other wiring plugs with pigtails for? They are in plastic pouches with labels printed with the following numbers: GC98401158. These two packets have this identical number on the labels. What do I do with these?
Thanks,
Ben

Re: 2004 S2000 KPro parts and installation
They are for the analog and digital inputs if you wish to use them. They are not required.

Right, thanks, that makes sense. What kind of plugs will they mate to? They don't plug into the ECU, and both packages consist of only female plugs with pigtails, no male plugs..

Got it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: 2004 S2000 KPro parts and installation
Another question...can I use an analog input to connect a wideband for the purposes of Autotuning? Or do I need to use the ELD input for the purposes of Autotuning? Or can I use either the ELD input or analog input for Autotuning?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'd use the analog input for the wideband input. That way you can run in closed loop using the wideband if you wish.

Excellent! So I can run the car in closed loop on a daily basis with the wideband installed via the analog input?

It's not possible to do this from the ELD?Hondata wrote:I'd use the analog input for the wideband input. That way you can run in closed loop using the wideband if you wish.

No, you cannot run closed loop from the ELD input.

Is it possible to run closed loop from an aftermarket wideband through a digital input? (S2000 w/ kpro4)
