I've been noticing for a long time on K24A2 swaps, I see what is posted in the images below. Right now the ignition is causing slight drivability issues customer states feels like heistation, During tuning, the shaky VTC angles are causing the fuel/ign tables to flip flop between all tables (0,10, 20, etc)
One car we had seen this and replaced all timing components, vtc solenoid, vtc gear, vtec solenoid, swapped sensors, nothing changed. switched to a new kpro ecu and it went away. same Kal. This time its on a fresh kpro v4 install. What could be causing the problem? Everytime it happens we lose 18-25 degrees ignition and on separate and more often occasions CAM goes wild all over the place but not noticible while driving, so im thinking CAM is fine but something is making the sensor pick up noise?
I got 1 vote for faulty VTC gear, for one problem.

It looks like you are talking about acceleration smoothing retard.
