hey hondata !
i am currently in the process of installing my Traction control system. I have basically had to retrofit the rear ABS sensors to my oem arms. As there is a little play with the clearances between the pickup sensor and the Tooth ring - what is a good guide distance / clearance to have between these?
Cheers

Re: Traction control - retrofitting abs sensors
It depends on the sensor type - inductive or hall effect. Generally around 1 mm of clearance is required.

Hi Hondata,
Is there any advantage/disadvantage in doubling up or running individually the front and / or rear sensors?

Re: Traction control - retrofitting abs sensors
For the front you really need two sensors as the drivetrain and tires will alternately 'wind up' on each side, so a single sensor does not represent the actual wheel speed.
For the rear a single sensor will work ok for a drag car, but for anything else you need two to cope with cornering.
