Dear Hondata,

Any news on software for the FK2R? We are eagerly waiting here in the Netherlands for software!

Thanks!

Dear Hondata Team,

You've had your FK2 Type-R for some time now. Are there any updates or an ETA for a FK2 Type-R solution/product?

Will you be releasing a product once the Type-R is available in the US (which is in 2017)? As an Euro Type-R owner I would like to know so I can decide whether to wait or look for another solution.

Looking forward to your reply...

We can reflash the ECU with good increases in power, but have no FlashPro / OBDII solution yet.

Thanks for the update.

I'm curious, what are the increases you've obtained and at what boost level(s)?

How does the +R mode come into play?

You might find there are plenty of people who would be happy with a reflash.
There are people who would simply stop modifying their cars with exhaust, filter, intercooler upgrades.

Cheers,
Ian

+R mode just remaps the throttle (and the suspension as well of course) - the maximum boost etc is the same.

Maximum boost is 1.7 bar. Power increase was only about 10% ( from memory - don't have the dyno sheets with me). The limitation appeared to be exhaust restriction, which may be the exhaust, turbo or cylinder head.

A reflash outside the US would not be viable because of the freight and customs costs.

Again, thank you.

Are you optimistic that you could bypass the issues this year?

I've removed the link, as it was advertising for a competitor.
