wot tuning question

Post by CAMGARNER »

I'm tuning my wot fuel high...I'm looking at my data log..for example at 6500 rpm 12.3 aft and cam angle 40..for example..I'd go to fuel high..columns 8 9 and 10...select cam angle 40 at that rpm and make my adjustments...my afr's are good now I adjusted each rpm in the columns according to what cam angle I was hitting at each rpm...is this correct..one guy says I should have adjusted fuel on all cam angles at once...someone offer advice please

It really all depends on the fuel values for the other angles. What works for one person ma not work as well for another. It is really up to the tuner and what the engine likes and the results you achieve.

spunkster thanks for the response..my afr is good...just making sure there wasnt something that i was missing...when i first started trying last year i added deleted on all angles at once..now i take my time and did the angle and rpm match run after run until i got it dialed in 12.8-13.1 all the way across..so as far as i can tell everything is good....thanks again...!!!
