VSS, KPro4
VSS, KPro4
I have not received my V4 as yet but was wondering when using the alternate VSS if its possible to still read/data log the original one?
Re: VSS, KPro4
below are two screen shots, one with the stock VSS and the other with the alternate VSS and as you can see with the stock sensor the gears graph does not jump around however with the alternate vss the gears are all over the place during this time the TPS could be stable or completely off throttle and vehicle speed constant.
any idea why this would be happening?

Re: VSS, KPro4
Can you provide the calibrations and datalogs showing the difference please?

Re: VSS, KPro4
You have not provided any datalogs showing the issue.
Re: VSS, KPro4
they are attached in the post above. . .well post above.
the one labeled stock VSS is the good one while the one labeled rear VSS is the alternate one which im having trouble with.

Re: VSS, KPro4
those are all calibrations. no datalogs were posted.
Re: VSS, KPro4
Any info on this?
The cal and logs are loaded in the message above.

Sorry, I thought that 'fixed!!!' meant that the issue was fixed. We'll look at it.

Re: VSS, KPro4
Reduce your smoothing value from 50. I'd suggest the lowest number that gives a good signal.

Re: VSS, KPro4
Ok. The V4 was a borrowed unit so I may take a while before I update this post.
Based on what you're saying reducing the smoothing should correct the gear indicator problem but shouldn't offset the actual vehicle speed read out?
Based on the pics about with the unit does it seem like a genuine unit? I asked this because I moved my calibration from my V3 to this V4 and even the vehicle start up was different (would start like if it had a slight misfire, put on my V3 and would start great).
