Flashpro Manager 2.5.4

Post by BrettCombs »

Would like to inform Hondata that the recent revision (beta) application will hang while updating the Flashpro. From fear of bricking I didn't remove it for about 5 minutes, I tried 3 Times and they all froze, with no indication of updating other than a blinking light on the FP. Found that if you close FPM and open it again.... Instead of clicking OK to update. Click the X on the dialog box. Updates with no issue. Also, I've always had issues getting the FP to connect to USB. I have to replug it multiple times before the red USB indicator shows up and can be read by FPM. This is across multiple machines (3 desktops, 2 laptops all on windows 7, 8, and 10 with FPMs most recent update). Brand new cord.

The problem happens when upgrading flashpro firmware not uploading a calibration.

Sure, but it has nevertheless indirectly to do with the vehicle, because each flashpro is different! :)

I have a 2016 EXT 1.5T and updated my FP manager/Flash Pro and have had nothing but problems since.Ive got it to upload a tune by opening the tune in FP manager then holding the button on the FP itself while hooked up to the my laptop. The upload buttons in FP manager bring up these issues in photos when trying to use FP manager program to upload a tune.and don't work. When I received it this past Monday it locked to the ecu I uploaded number three tune and had no problem using FP manager to upload the tune.BTW this my third FP tuned Civic.
Please pm me or email.

For some reason version 2.5.5 has disappeared from the download section. FPM states that the latest beta is 2.4.9. Something is not adding up here.

I'm having this firmware update issue with 2.5.9.0 again
When I plug in the flashpro the firmware update procedure gets about halfway and then the window closes. The firmware is not being updated

since its a 2016, im guessing you have a cvt? What problems are you having? it most likely not have anything to do with the new release since its to add more ecu support for the new civic

CVT is limited to around 20psi due to the CVT computer limiting the TQ. If its not staying at 19-20psi, you can look at this chart on how it controls the boost level. it will run more IGN but less boost to make up the lower boost level. The IAT temp has to do with boost adjustment too. I notice when its cold it will run less boost but a lot more IGN. When its hot out, it will run more boost but less IGN
