2.8.8. Bug - Official Statement

Post by DocDre94 »

Has an official statement been released by Hondata regarding the 2.8.8.0 update and the potential issues it is causing ?

Their is a lot of talk about this update causing very serious problems (not starting) with customers vehicles. My tuner has advised me not to update FlashPro until Hondata releases either a fix or a statement explaining the bug.

Is their any details on the bug or any potential ETA on a fix ?

Thank-you in advance

Yeah I saw that, but I was hoping for release notes of some sort to actually understand what the bug was, what sort of issue it was causing and how they resolved it. Transparency in these sort of situations is really important to customers, at least I think so.

I am sure they are working on it, I was just simply wondering if they had any sort of response or ETA.

Cheers

If you bothered to read the release notes within the new package you will see they fixed cranking fuel.

Thank you for the reply Stoney. I did not download the new version because I did not want to be stuck with the software in the situation that it was still an issue. I want to make it clear that I am not sh*tting on Hondata. I was just curious and thought the forum would be a good place to ask.

Thanks again,
