2018 Honda Accord 2.0T w/ 10speed Auto

Post by bonus2003 »

Hello, I have seen your tune on the 2.0T Accord. I was wondering if the current tune will work with the automatic version and if it does not, are there any plans to be able to adjust shift points etc.... for the auto. Any info would be much appreciated!

It will work with the automatic as well. The transmission is controlled by a separate controller and we cannot make any changes to how the transmission works.

I see that premium gas is recommended for the stg1 & stg2. can it still support regular 87 gas like the Civic R? the knock sensor will still auto-retard right?

You can run 87, but it is not recommended and you will get the most power out of premium fuel. The Civic Type R must run 91.

Hi,

I thought the Accord had a PCM, which integrates the ECU and TCU together, isnt that true?

Thanks!

We do not make any changes to how the transmission works.
