Ignition compensation by gear

Post by Matt Dex »

I like to know better about this feature. Does it mean to adjust ignition while shifting? Like to retard the ignition to have the exhaust crackle or antilag in turbo setup? If then, what is the ideal value to retard the ignition?

It is not for noise, it is because there is added load when in different gears.

Understood. So is there a way we can retard ignition during shifting? It would be cool to have a bang during shifting and helping to reduce some lag.

I'm sorry, but there is no way of doing this. Bangs from the exhaust while shifting are not good for the engine.
